Guess Who...

had her first trip to the movie theater..... Peyton Lou!

We have been wanting to take her to a movie for a while now and we thought Toy Story 3 would be the perfect first movie experience. And since we were going to see TS3 we decided to do it "right" and see it in IMAX 3D.

So Monday afternoon, we took the baby girls to Nana's and headed across town to the movie theater.
She was so stinkin excited!

We got there and P immediately spotted the TS3 movie poster so we had to go check it out.
Peyton and Daddy

And Momma with Peyton

I'm not sure who was more excited to do this, us or P! Actually I was both excited and emotional... I fought back tears all day thinking about how big she was getting and how happy I was to get to make this memory with her. Anyway, I overcame my emotions and we had a blast!

Before we left, we explained to her that she had to keep the glasses on or she couldn't see the movie. I knew she'd be cute in those glasses, but I had no idea how cute she would be....

We had a great time and it was a great movie! I think her first trip to the theater was a huge success! And just because she is so darn cute, I'll leave you with another picture of my big girl.

Happy Tuesday!

Hooray! We are taking Freddie today and he's very excited. His first movie theater movie was How to Train Your Dragon, and it was seriousy horrifying! Good, but scary for a 3 year old. I am bummed that they don't have the kid sized 3D glasses though. They were supposed to be offering them for this movie release!

Oh my WORD----she is adorable! You can just tell how excited she is!! Ya'll look cute in the glasses!!! And you are definitely my soul sister with all the emotions about it....I kept getting out my camera the night we took Connor and my husband was like "What is UP with the paparazzi?!?!" ha! But it was such a neat moment and milestone!
